The London Developer Co-operative was formed in 2008 by four independent software developers looking to provide top-notch support to their clients. Small consultants need time off from time-to-time, but modern businesses operate 24/7.
The London Developer Co-operative seeks to mitigate this difference by providing the type of skilled coverage only larger organisations can provide, whilst maintaining the agility and approachability of a small, focussed consultancy.
The London Developer Co-operative is made up of a number of experienced developers, administrators and infrastructure experts, versed in technologies such as IBM Lotus Notes & Domino, the IBM Websphere family, JBoss, Apache IBM iSeries, Microsoft solutions, XML, (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web services, and many more splendid acronyms.
We do the Java (including JEE) and .NET things to enterprise level, with their associated buzzwords (C#, JSP, EJB, servlets, MVC, JSF…) (In fact, chances are, even if you have an acronym we're not too familiar with, we'll pick it up quick-smart).

Mark has been fixing major Development and Infrastructure problems for big corporations for the last 13 years, and smaller companies for 5 years before that, specialising in solutions that blur the lines between Infrastructure and Development (Taking the best of both areas), Mark hates unnecessary spending on his clients budget, he possesses no technology loyalty, using best of breed to get a job done, the fact that the shortest of his contracts in the last 13 years has been 3 years (and he’s still at that one), should give you an idea of the value his clients put on his work.
Mark can act as consultant in either the development or support areas of a project, and makes for an excellent intermediary between conflicting business and IT areas: his broad knowledge and pleasant nature enables amicable solutions to be reached and deadlines met.

Julian first learned ‘real’ programming using C and Assembler 25 years ago, which makes him feel old. Since then he has worked with Clipper, Visual Basic, ASP, Access, SQL Server, IBM Lotus Notes and Domino, IBM Lotus Quickplace (Quickr), C# and Java. He has been developer, project manager, product manager, technical architect and general teaboy.
In 2005 Julian founded Axiot, an IBM Business Partner and Design Partner, and now divides his time between Lotus- and Microsoft-based projects. He is one of the founders of the UK Lotus User Group (UKLUG), and part of the organising team for both that and the Irish Lotus User Group (ILUG).
Both Julian and Axiot are pleased to be part of the London Developer Co-Op.
Kieran Green

Kieran has been working in the IT financial sector for the last 10 years, designing and implementing enterprise level systems based on IBM technologies.
Having started programming systems and databases on IBM iSeries (AS400) in the investment banking and insurance sectors—for companies including ABN Amro, BNP Parisbas, Ace-INA and Allianz insurance—he then moved on to design and implement web and SOA-based systems with Java technologies running on IBM Websphere platform and Sun Application Server. This leaves Kieran well placed to face the challenges of secure cross platform and enterprise level systems required today.
Kieran takes his work seriously; he is currently a Technical Consultant on a global project and is a Professional member of the British Computer Society.
